The Eco Difference
We are partnered with Green Circle Salons to dispose of 95% of salon waste. Your hair soaks up oil spills, or is turned into plastics. Your foil is turned into bicycles and your unused hair colour is added into asphalt.

Curl Specialist/Master Stylist
Milly
As our Curl Specialist at Thrive Milly has over 15 year’s experience in the industry. Milly loves transforming people’s relationships with their hair and natural textures. Her passion and knowledge for curly hair allows her to create beautiful shapes, and her clients always leave educated on how to care and maintain their curls at home.
Milly has trained and lived all over the country and recently moved to BC from Newfoundland. Although Milly specializes in curls, she welcomes all services and textures to her chair. Milly is a positive, inclusive light in the salon, she is down to earth and always game for anything.
Milly's Specialties include curly and wavy hair, creative cutting and gray blending.
Senior Stylist
Miranda
As one of Thrive‘s Blonding specialists, Miranda has a love for creating bright impactful blondes. She loves enhancing her clients’ color, and maintaining the health of their hair. Whether you like the brightest of blondes or a seamless grow out, Miranda's got you.
Miranda Thrives in her creative side. She wants to make everyone feel more confident in themselves and believes that everyone deserves to feel beautiful when they look in the mirror.
When not in the salon she enjoys fashion, design, adventuring, anything rose gold, playing hockey, chai tea lattes and the outdoors.
Miranda's Specialties include balayage, bright + ashy blondes, and long hair cutting and styling.
Salon Owner/Master Stylist
Cheri
The leading force behind the team at Thrive, Cheri has been behind the chair for over 20 years. With a passion for educating and empowering other stylists, she has created a team-based supportive, safe and healthy environment at Thrive Eco Salon. Cheri‘s strives to change the stereotypical industry standards by doing things differently, creating a healthy and happy environment for the team and guests of Thrive through sustainable business practices and non or low toxic beauty products.
Cheri's experience ranges from working on TV and movie sets, runway shows, and for many years in a fast paced high end Vancouver Salon. She has trained all over the US and Canada, is an efficient hairstylist who welcomes anyone and everyone to her chair.
Cheri's Specialties include transformational cuts and colors, specifically short haircutting and highlighting.
Junior Stylist
Alex
One of Thrive's junior stylist, Alex has a passion for creating custom cuts, colours and styles to make you feel like your best self. She believes in holding a safe and comfortable space in her chair for all, whether you're feeling chatty or just want to relax with a good book or podcast while she works her magic.
When not at the salon, you can find Alex hiking, at the river or curled up on the couch watching a movie. Some of her favourite things to do behind the chair include:

Lead Stylist
Mary
As one of Thrive‘s blonding specialists, Mary loves all transformational colors, color corrections, and achieving the perfect blonde tone for her clients. Mary does everything with intention; she is a fast and efficient stylist and is always happy to work within anyone’s budget. With 15+ years experience she is confident, and always knows how to achieve the best results.
Mary is often found out in nature, hiking, reading, or practicing yoga. She is all about self improvement, better understanding herself and her clients in a non-judge mental way. Mary is fun, a little wild at heart and always laughing.
Mary's Specialties include color corrections, blonding, and modern hair cutting.
Lead Stylist
Mabel
Mabel’s desire as a hairdresser is to bring more mindfulness into everyday practices in the salon. An advocate for mental health; she holds a safe place in her chair that's grounded with positivity, trust and true connection. She wants for all people to feel welcome and at home, no matter what they are dealing with personally.

Fiona
Fiona is a well-rounded Stylist and Extension expert at Thrive, passionate about custom blonding, dimensional colors, and non-damaging, and lightweight extensions. With her keen eye for detail, she brings out the best in every client, ensuring their hair beautifully reflects their unique style and lifestyle.
As a young and dedicated stylist, Fiona has a natural talent that shines through her work. She placed 1st in the SkillsTrade Competition and went on to compete at the regional level, showcasing her commitment to excellence in her craft.
Fiona’s warm and fun personality transforms every appointment into a memorable experience.

Suzanne
After years as a stay at home mom raising her three beautiful daughters, Suzanne is pursuing her lifelong passion for hairdressing at Thrive Eco Salon. From a young age, Suzanne dreamed of becoming a hairdresser, and she especially loves haircutting, blonding transformations and rich brunettes. Whether you're looking for a new cut, foils or an all over color, Suzanne is dedicated to crafting a look that’s uniquely yours.
When she's not behind the chair you can find her outdoors - hiking, fishing or camping with her family.
Suzanne's specialties include grey blending, efficient and impactful foil work, and transformational haircutting.

Mercedes brings a fresh and modern approach to Thrive. She stays up-to-date on all the hair trends, and there is no doubt that she has a natural talent for the art of hair and making people feel like their best selves.
Mercedes is talented, smart, witty, and loved by the entire team and our clients, especially for her amazing round brush blow dry styles.

What happens if you need to cancel or reschedule a missed appointment?
What if I become ill and cannot make my appointment?
In the event that you are ill please give us as much notice as possible. Appointments canceled due to illness are not subject to the cancellation fee, however may not be rescheduled within 2 weeks of the initial appointment. If you arrive at your appointment and showing symptoms of illness you may be denied service at any point during your session.
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment anytime by contacting the salon via text. If it is before the 48 hour period, you can use your online booking profile to cancel and reschedule yourself.
There will be a 50% cancellation fee in the event you miss your appointment or must cancel/reschedule with less than 48 hours notice. This is given to the stylist to compensate for their lost income.
Your appointments are very important to us and are reserved specifically for you. We understand that sometimes things may come up and schedule adjustments must be made.
